Valentin Yudashkin, a member of the French Federation of High Fashion Pret-a-Porter, founded in 1989, is the most famous Russian founded internationally acclaimed fashion brand, best known for its unique and exquisite Haute Couture collections, refined Ready-to-Wear and Bridal collections.
In 1991, the founder, Valentin Yudashkin presented his first Haute Couture collection at the Paris Haute Couture Week, and it was immediately praised and admired among the leading fashion experts, professionals and collectors. One of the dresses of the legendary Faberge collection was acquired by the Louvre Museum in Paris, while others were purchased by prominent art collectors. Unique pieces from various Valentin Yudashkin collections are exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the California Fashion Museum, the State Historical Museum in Moscow and the International Olympic Museum in Lausanne.
1997 Black and White Cinema
The first Yudashin store opened its doors in Moscow in 1997, offering prêt-a-porte de luxe clothing, as well as accessories, eyewear and jewelry.
In 2003, the State Historical Museum in Moscow hosted Valentin Yudashkin's first solo exhibition. The exhibition featured more than 200 haute couture and prêt-à-porter outfits created by the designer over a 15 year period. The exhibition became the most visited fashion art exhibition in history.
Today, Valentin Yudashkin is a luxury goods company producing exclusive pieces, accessories and fragrances. The brand is also involved in running the Yudashkin restaurant group, architectural and interior design. It has representative offices in Moscow, Paris, Hong Kong and Dubai.
Following the passing of the brand's founder and creative director, Mr. Yudashkin, in May 2023, his daughter Gala Yudashkin, a Parsons School of Design Film Photography graduate and Moscow State University Art History major, took over. With a bold artistic vision, Gala Yudashkin, one of the young leaders of the international fashion industry, aims to strengthen the global recognition of the brand.
